It appears that no one has responded in a while. To restart the conversation, merely pose a new question. I signed up because it stated that I could receive The Incredibles for free. However, it stated that I must sync my iTunes with Disney movies. I followed the link to iTunes, but when I got there, there were no additional instructions.
- I have searched everywhere, but I am unable to locate any helpful information.
- I want to buy an iPod touch (5th generation) with iOS 7 Free The Incredibles 4 Posted at 1:07 PM on March 22, 2014 3 replies Query marked as Beneficial In response to Itslikebrittaany’s comment posted on May 4, 2014 at 6:31 PM I have read the article that Judysings provided a link to, but following the steps does not work for me.
How do I link my iTunes account? is the problematic step. In the Disney Movies Anywhere settings, you can link your iTunes account to your Disney Movies Anywhere account. To begin, navigate to Settings Account Connect Accounts and then select iTunes. For completion, you will be redirected to iTunes.
- When I select iTunes from my Disney Anywhere account settings, I am directed to the iTunes download page.
- I have iTunes installed; however, regardless of whether I attempt this with iTunes open or closed, I am directed to the install page, and my iTunes settings continue to indicate that there is no connection to Disney Movies Anywhere.
I have reinstalled iTunes to ensure I have the most recent version, but to no avail. Query marked as Beneficial Sep 27, 2015 5:29 PM in response to Itslikebrittaany This computer utilizes Chrome and has iTunes installed. When I click the iTunes link on the Disney website, I am redirected to the iTunes download page.
This must be one of the dumbest systems ever created. Extremely complicated, and I am an expert computer user. Query marked as Beneficial 24 January 2015, 6:18 AM, in reply to gungagreg It did not function in Chrome, but it did in Firefox. (I use a PC.) And I obtained Wreck-It Ralph, which I was planning to purchase anyway.

Regarding Disney Movies Anywhere and iTunes http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6129?viewlocale=en US Cheers, – Judy In response to judysings from March 25, 2014 at 8:16 PM, Hello Judy I experienced the same issue, but it was resolved. My question now that everything is interconnected is: I have attempted to watch a free movie on iTunes, such as The Incredibles, but it still says I must pay for it.
I believed that if I linked both accounts, I would be able to access the movies through iTunes. Any thoughts? Thanks Apr 2, 2014 8:52 PM in response to Itslikebrittaany I had this issue and resolved it. You must modify the settings in iTunes’ preferences.
Select the option “show iTunes in the Cloud purchase” in the iTunes Preferences Store. They suddenly appear as if by magic, including the Incredibles. In response to jilliann78 at 2 Apr 2014 21:14 Where do preferences exist? On my iPad, I cannot locate. The only thing I want to see is my iTunes library, including the free copy of Incredibles, but I see nothing:( Apr 22, 2014 11:54 AM as a reply to judysings I’m sorry, but that is completely useless.
After telling you to open iTunes, the only remaining instruction is that iTunes will guide you through the remainder of the process. Brittany and I argue that this is not the case. Can you provide assistance? Apr 22, 2014 7:10 PM in response to rquinn7 @rquinn7, You must click the link from a desktop with iTunes installed.
- Not compatible with iPads or iPhones.
- The link should open a new window or tab with a message about launching iTunes.
- After iTunes has been loaded, you will be prompted to connect to your Disney account.
- Confirm it.
- Then follow @jilliann78’s instructions to “watch” the cloud-based movie.
- Alternately, your Apple TV or iDevice should now see it in your library with a cloud icon, indicating that it will stream from the iTunes Cloud.
In reply to adamloveshismacbookair’s message dated May 3, 2014 10:38 AM Thanks to this discussion, I was able to finally make this work. If you’re like me and want the movies locally so they can be viewed offline, there is one more step. Once the “cloud” version of the movie is visible, you can right-click it and select “Download.” I still prefer the previous method, in which the digital movie was stored on a copyable disc, over a 3+ GB download.

We are about to embark on another road trip, and this new app arrives at the perfect time. The brand-new Disney Movies Anywhere app has just been released. You are familiar with the codes that accompany many of your favorite Disney films. This code will not only grant you bonus points in your DMR account, but it will also grant you digital access to some of those films (those that included the digital format).
IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY ENTERED THESE CODES, SEARCH FOR THEM. If so, you’re about to discover an entirely new way to access them, and it’s EXTREMELY SIMPLE. No, in fact. Our 5-year-old can complete the task. This application will enable you to bring your favorite Disney, Pixar, and Marvel films with you in digital format.
If you have this app installed on your iOS device, you no longer need to carry a DVD player around (requires OS7 or higher). In addition to being able to stream movies when connected to a network, you can also DOWNLOAD movies to your device for viewing ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, without a network connection.
- Sign in with your iTunes account when prompted.
- iTunes will then return you to the application.
The “My Collection” icon is located at the bottom of the app’s main screen. This will display all the movies you have unlocked with codes. In addition to being able to watch these movies immediately, you also have the option to download them onto your device so that they can be viewed OFFLINE.
