Guests are allowed to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverage items into the park for self-consumption, provided they are not in glass containers and do not require heating, reheating, processing, refrigeration or temperature control and do not have pungent odors.
Are backpacks permitted at Walt Disney World?
Restricted Items – Firearms, ammo, knives, and all other types of weapons are prohibited. Self-protection or restraint devices (e.g., pepper spray, mace) Any unlawful drug, including cannabis and cannabis-infused items. Toys or objects that resemble firearms or weapons.
Fireworks and other explosive and/or flammable things, smoke machines, and fog machines. Except for Disney Resort hotels and Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, alcoholic drinks are prohibited. Glass containers (except tiny containers like baby food jars) are prohibited everywhere besides Disney Resort hotels and the Star Wars: The Adventures Continue Starcruiser. The use of loose or dry ice is prohibited in these containers. The use of reusable ice packs is advised. Chairs that fold up are not permitted at any theme park, water park, Star Wars: The Experience, or Disney Springs. Selfie sticks, handheld extension poles for cameras or mobile devices, flags, and banners are prohibited at all amusement parks, water parks, and on the Star Wars: The Starcruiser.
- In theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, Star Wars: The Experience: Starcruiser, and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, tripods or monopod stands that do not fit within a typical backpack or extend above 6 feet (182 cm) are prohibited.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge prohibit the usage of balloons (Kidani Village and Jambo House) Straws made of plastic are prohibited throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, water parks, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (Kidani Village and Jambo House).
