Wednesday, March 9, 2022, 1:00pm EDT, by the WDWMAGIC Staff Today marked the long-awaited return of large-scale parades to Walt Disney World with the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. The parade includes the majority of the original floats, including the steampunk Maleficent float.

Merida has joined the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade in place of the missing Brave unit. It is also evident that there are fewer performers between the floats than there were in the pre-pandemic version, which included approximately 40 performers. View the video below to see the first performance of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade following the shutdown.

During the upcoming spring break, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will be performed daily at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Guests who are park hopping at 2:00 p.m. will be able to catch the parade due to the second showing. The parade begins in Frontierland, continues along Main Street U.S.A.

What time is the Magic Kingdom Florida parade?

Arrive at Tony’s Town Square and enjoy a meal. After your meal, you will receive a special voucher that grants you access to the VIP viewing area for the Festival of Fantasy Parade. This pass is free, and you will only be charged for your pre-priced lunch.

  1. At least 15 to 35 minutes before the show, head to the flagpole on Main Street, U.S.A., where Cast Members will direct you to the correct location.
  2. If you arrive less than 15 minutes prior to the start of the performance, you may not be permitted entry.
  3. Note: If a parade is canceled due to inclement weather, you will receive a voucher for an alternative performance within five days of the original date you were scheduled to attend.

Valid admission to the theme park is required. However, you will still dine at the scheduled time and date. Every day, the Festival of Fantasy Dining Package is available. The majority of the year, the Frontierland parade begins at 3 p.m., so VIP viewing occurs at the end of the parade route.
