When Returns Happily Ever After to Walt Disney World? In 2023, the Happily Ever After fireworks display will return to Walt Disney World. Due of the pandemic, the program, which remains immensely popular among Disney fans, was first suspended. As part of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, it was later replaced by Enchantment in late 2021.
- In the spring of 2023, guests may anticipate the restoration of the performance to its proper location in the Magic Kingdom.
- This was created for the presentation “Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products” at the 2022 D23 Expo.
- A unique live performance of Happily Ever After with singer-songwriter Jordan Fisher was reported in the press.
Happily Ever After’s return date has not been specified, however Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration will end on March 31, 2023. In light of this, we have highlighted April 1, 2023 on our calendar as a probable return date for Happily Ever After in the Magic Kingdom.
Disney’s efforts to reinstate fireworks at Disney World.
Disney is Seeking Firework Experts – Regarding the reintroduction of fireworks to Disney World, there have just been two LARGE signs of optimism. In March, Disney issued a new job opening for a Principal Fireworks Designer, and just recently, a posting for a Fireworks & Special Effects Designer was discovered.

Does the Magic Kingdom have nighttime fireworks?
Walt Disney World’s fireworks displays and midnight spectacles are one of the things that make it so enchanted and keep us returning again and again. When the parks reopened, there were no nightly spectaculars, but they are back in full force again! There is no better way to end a long day at the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT than by securing a prime viewing location for the fireworks display.
Therefore, in a year full of changes, the elimination of fireworks displays in the parks may have been the most difficult to accept. No matter whether you’re visiting the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom, the evening spectaculars are one of the most popular attractions in the theme parks.
When will Disney World’s fireworks return? The good news is that the fireworks have returned to Walt Disney World as of July 1st! This page will explain why midnight spectaculars at Walt Disney World were discontinued and what to anticipate now that they are returned.

Is Harmonious, Epcot’s new fireworks display, still occurring?
Testing Fireworks – Although fireworks and midnight spectaculars are not currently lighting up the sky at Disney World, progress has been made on EPCOT’s new display, Harmonious. The new performance was supposed to begin in 2020, but park closures pushed back the premiere.
There will be daytime and evening displays of Harmonious! And, although Disney has not announced a new date for the debut of this performance, the World Showcase Lagoon now has five new barge occupants! EPCOT Harmonious Barges currently live in World Showcase Lagoon There are several aspects to the performance, including digital displays, water effects, and pyrotechnics, and while we haven’t yet witnessed fireworks being tested at the parks, we have observed Disney testing the spinning arms and screens.
The “arms” of all the boats and even the water displays have been tested. In addition, there have been late-night water tests! In addition, some evidence suggests that Disney has tested the fireworks. In September, the Disney Food Blog reported that guests staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort were notified via the My Disney Experience app that EPCOT will be conducting fireworks testing overnight.
- © @kellielizabethharris | DisneyFoodBlog WDW Magic also reported lately that some visitors sleeping at neighboring EPCOT hotels could hear the soundtrack of EPCOT Forever (the previous fireworks display in the park) playing from the park.
- Epcot For Always EPCOT is not the only park that has conducted fireworks testing; we’ve also seen Magic Kingdom’s fireworks in the distance after the park closed.
